Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra James Bond Limited Edition 231.10.42.21.03.004
A Bond Collectible Designed Into the Watch, Not Simply Added to It
The James Bond Aqua Terra takes one of Omega's most versatile sports watches and adds details that make it genuinely interesting as a Bond collectible. Rather than simply placing a 007 logo on a standard Aqua Terra, Omega worked the connection into the design itself, from the textured blue dial to the specially finished movement visible through the caseback.
This 2021 example presents in excellent overall condition with minimal wear and includes both its stainless-steel bracelet and blue strap, giving the watch two distinctly different configurations. The accompanying set is particularly strong as well, with its inner and outer boxes, cards, certificate, eye loupe, strap tool, hangtag, card holder, and booklets all included.

Why We Like It
Omega and James Bond have a relationship going back decades, but what makes this Aqua Terra particularly interesting is how thoroughly the Bond references were incorporated into the watch.
The blue dial is the first clue. Look closely and its texture is formed from a repeating version of the Bond family coat of arms rather than a conventional Aqua Terra pattern. The yellow central seconds hand adds another subtle reference through its counterweight. These aren't details that overwhelm the design from across the room; they're elements that reveal themselves as you spend more time with the watch.
Turn it over and Omega continued the concept rather than stopping at the dial. The automatic Caliber 8507 received a distinctive rotor treatment inspired by the rifling of the gun-barrel sequence associated with the Bond films. It gives the exhibition caseback a visual identity specific to this edition rather than simply displaying the standard movement.
Production was limited to 15,007 pieces, an appropriately Bond-specific number.
Underneath all of those details, though, it's still an Aqua Terra—and that's a major part of the appeal. The 41.5-millimeter stainless steel case offers 150 meters of water resistance, while the Caliber 8507 provides approximately 60 hours of power reserve and the strong resistance to magnetism that became an important part of Omega's technical development during this period.
That gives the watch two legitimate reasons to own it. A Bond collector gets a limited edition filled with references that go considerably deeper than a logo on the dial, while an Omega enthusiast gets a genuinely capable Aqua Terra that can be worn regularly rather than treated purely as memorabilia.
Having both the steel bracelet and blue strap reinforces that versatility. The bracelet keeps the watch closer to the familiar Aqua Terra formula, while the blue strap emphasizes the color and more casual side of the Bond edition.
It's a Bond collectible that doesn't have to live like one.
